The Vall Formosa Brut Nature Reserva is composed of 55% Parellada and 45% Chardonnay that spent 24 months on its lees. Medium straw-colored, it displays a nose of mineral, biscuit, apple, white peach, and floral notes. Dry, vibrant, and concentrated, it has plenty of flavor without the complexity of a top-level sparkling wine.
The three entry-level Cavas from Vallformosa are excellent values.
