Cortijo los Aguilares is een uitgebalanceerde, elegante, gestructureerde 100% Pinot noir wijn. Rood fruit, kruiden, bloemen, optimale zuurgraad, rijpe tannines en een aangename afdronk.
Goede combinatie met rood vlees (lamsvlees), gevogelte en harde kaas.  
De optimale drinktemperatuur voor Cortijo los Aguilares is 16°C. 

The Wine Advocate: about 2016

"The 2016 Pinot Noir was produced with organically farmed grapes planted at 900 meters altitude in Ronda (Málaga). They aim at showing both the variety and the place, fermenting with some full clusters in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts followed by malolactic in concrete and stainless steel and an élevage of nine months in a combination of used 300- and 500-liter French oak barrels and an egg-shaped cement vat. It has a very delicate color and an insinuating nose with aromas of wild berries and flowers, with good ripeness but keeping very good freshness in the palate. I found it nicely balanced, not terribly complex but clean, pleasant and easy to drink."
