40% Macabeo, 40% Xarel.lo, 10% Parellada, 10% Chardonnay.
The Wine Advocate about the 2012:
"A wine that used to carry the gran reserva denomination that is not allowed outside Cava, the 2012 Leopardi Brut Nature is no longer a Cava but belongs to the Corpinnat association. Leopardi is the Latin name of the Llopart surname, and this was their top sparkling wine for a very long time. Matured in bottle with the lees for no less than 64 months, ithas the typical aromas of smoke, yeasts and bread dough. It's a blend of 40% each Macabeo and Xarello and 10% each Parellada and Chardonnay. It has a serious and dry palate with a tasty finish. 31,000 bottles produced."
