15.0% vol. 98 Parkerpunten. 30 maanden rijping op Frans eiken. Eén van de allerbeste wijnen van Spanje: "Smoke, graphite, blackberry liqueur, blueberries, violets and spicy oak jump from the glass of this inky/purple colored 2003". Nu al goed op dronk, maar kan zich de komende 10 jaar verder ontwikkelen. PS betekent Pagos Seleccionados, in het Nederlands "geselecteerde percelen". Deze wijn wordt uitsluitend op de markt gebracht in goede wijnjaren. Slechts zeer beperkt verkrijgbaar. Wine Spectator; Feb 2008; Jay Miller: 'The 2005 Aalto PS is 100% Tinto Fino from vineyards over 60 years of age. It was aged for 32 months in 70% new French oak. Saturated in appearance, the wine offers up notes of pain grille, balsamic, crushed stone, floral notes, and wild black fruits. Exceptionally powerful, focused, and beautifully proportioned, this full-bodied wine is dense, rich, and structured for the long haul.
