Complexe wijn, rijp rood fruit, mineralen, brandy tonen en een indrukwekkende afdronk. Goede combinatie4 met rood clees, met name Tournedos en wild. Nu op dronk, maar kan zich tenminste tot 2018 nog verder ontwikkelen. Wine Advocate: "The 2005 Aquilon has a splendid perfume of slate, violets, and cherry compote. There is beautiful integration of oak, tannin, and acidity, a smooth texture, layers of flavor, and exceptional length.
