86% Tempranillo, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot. 94 Parker punten. 92 Penin punten. Finca Villacreces Reserva heeft 16 maanden gerijpt in Frans eiken. Geconcentreerde, ronde, complexe wijn, die tot de top van Ribera del Duero behoort. Aardse tonen, peper, toast, cacao, zwarte bessen, bramen en mooie tannines. Prachtige afdronk. Goede combinatie met alle soorten rood vlees, pasta. The Wine Advocate: The purple-colored 2006 Reserva is made up of 86% Tempranillo and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot aged for 16 months in French oak. The nose displays a brooding aromatic array of Asian spices, damp earth, mineral, blackberry, and violets. Dense and stacked on the palate, the wine is still a bit tightly wound and will benefit from 4-6 years of additional cellaring.
